St. Joseph Parish Commissions

Assisting the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) of St. Joseph Parish in their work of fulfilling its mission and that of St. Joseph Parish are the members of six commissions. These commissions are standing commissions of the PPC and each commission represents an aspect of parish life. The commissions are: Community Life, Liturgy, Social Concerns, Spiritual Life, Stewardship, and Youth-Young Adult. In addition to being composed of one or two PPC representatives, each commission includes interested parishioners, Ministry Leaders, a Pastoral Staff liaison, and a chairperson. Commissions are governed by a set of guidelines. The PPC representative serves as a vehicle between a commission and the PPC, while the staff liaison serves as the Pastor's representative to the commission and the commission's representative to the Pastor. As part of the June PPC meeting, all six of the commission chairpersons participate in an annual discussion and reflection with the PPC concerning their commission’s work throughout the year and plans for the upcoming year.
