Adult Faith Formation Opportunities

The Adult Faith Formation Committee is comprised of parishioners from both St. Joseph and St. John Neumann parishes. Its goal is to provide engaging programs and speakers that bring our parishioners together to participate in religious experiences and faith sharing as a large Christian Community. Call, see the bulletin, or view the website for Adult Faith Formation opportunities as they are offered and presented.

St. Joseph's Book Club
Join us on Mondays during September for an in-depth reading of masterwork short stories of Flannery O'Connor.
Mary Flannery O'Connor was born on March 25, 1925 in Savannah, Georgia. She completed more than two dozen short stories and two novels while living with lupus. She died on August 3, 1964 at the age of 39.
Her writing reflects her Roman Catholic faith and frequently examines questions of morality and ethics. Her posthumously compiled Complete Stories won the 1972 U.S. National Book Award for Fiction and has been the subject of enduring praise.
Plan to attend on the following Mondays at 7:00PM in the HFC: September 9, 16, 23, and 30. Fr. Greg Olszewski will facilitate the sessions. We will use the Complete Stories version - check with used bookstores retail and online or at the public library. Watch this space for a listing of the sotries we will examine. Contact Moira in the Main Office to register!
